In the Major Case squadroom, ‘going green’ meant no more Styrofoam coffee cups, no more plastic stirrers, the addition of new recycling bins, and that all reports must be printed double-sided or they would not be accepted. (This was hypocritical, really, as any reports that did not meet this requirement were promptly discarded in a recycling bin, thus wasting more paper.)
“I hate this.” Goren muttered, after discovering that there were no more clean coffee mugs, and having to recycle his second report of the day.
“Look on the bright side,” Eames advised, “we can save water by showering together.”
