This is the third and final part! YAY!

This is the season 1 Finale: Sacrifice.

 

So, the actual case here is about bombings in DC that may or may not be terrorist related. But that's totally NOT the storyline behind my caps, because these are CALLIAN based rather than actually case-relevant.



Gillian is on the phone... with SOMEONE...



A phone call which aparently makes her upset. Cal asks her if she's okay, and she says yes.



Cal totally doesn't believe that, but doesn't push it because the case is about bombings, so lives hang in the balance.

Oh, another things I forgot to meantion, Cal has a daughter. She's 16 and her name is Emily. Emily's mother, Zoe and Cal are divorced. Anyways, Emily is at Cal's office for the day because the bombings shut down schools and she couldn't go to work with her mother. So...



I find Cal being all fatherly to be extremely cute!!

Emily later talks to Gillian about how Cal and Zoe are spending more time together, and it bothers her, because she knows they divorced for a reason and nothing good can come out of this. Emily then says to Gillian:

"He's [Cal] just so much happier when he's with you." I. LOVE. THIS. CHILD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See, even SHE ships them!



And Gillian's like... "Oh..." And... yeah.



Cal and bad posture. Again.



I found this really pretty. And I SWEAR I saw the exact same clip on Bones the other day...

 

Now,  they solve the case, the day is saved, blah blah blah. Blabbity blah. Then Cal visit's Gillian's office and asks if she's okay.

She gives a half-assed "Yeah, I'm alright." (HAND ON SHOULDER!)



Then he goes: "Want to talk about it, Luv?" And I EFFING MELTED!!! The way he calls her 'Luv' with his accent is so damn CUTE!! I just can't do it justice! GUH! It's BEAUTIFUL.



Then Gillian informs Cal: "Alec and I are seperating. I-I'm moving out." (OMG! YES!!!!! Er, I mean... aww, that's too bad.)



Then she goes: "I can't even picture it. Being on my own again..." And Cal's all sympathetic. And caring. And totally in love with her.



Aaaaand, more touching! There is more touching in this one scene than my other OTPs get in a YEAR. I LOVE IT.



More staring! And Cal being all concerned. (SQUEEE!)



OH MY JESUS!!! MORE TOUCHING!!! And her hand is on his chest! GUH! SO CUTE!!



In the words of my dear friend Amber: "And then they kiss?!"

Now just look how SAD she looks when he leaves!!! I feel so bad for her! Cal should have offered to let her stay at his place. Or given her a hug. Or something. ANYTHING.

And then the parting shot of the season, where Cal's all: I win at life.

The end.
